The thrills never stop as star-spangled super hero Captain America races into action against America's deadliest enemies. Reb Brown stars as the legendary crime fighter and ex-marine son of the original World War II hero whose life is saved by a super steroid endowing him with extra strength, vision, hearing and agility. Determined to carry on the duties of his late father, he dons the famed red, white and blue costume and climbs aboard a high tech motorcycle to thwart a power mad industrialist, Steve Forrest, who threatens to destroy the City of Phoenix with a homemade neutron bomb. "It was made in the 1970s" is not an excuse for bad filmmaking. The Godfather, Taxi Driver, A Clockwork Orange, Jaws and Star Wars were all made in the 70s. Oh...and so was Superman: The Movie. With the exception of Kenneth Johnson's THE INCREDIBLE HULK, Marvel had to wait another 25 years to produce a good adaptation.

Anyone these days going in on this movie expecting anything near what we're use to will be majorly disappointed. IT WAS MADE IN THE 70s! It's corny, lame, without imagination, and down right boring. But if you had seen it around the time it first came out you would have thought it to be one of the best movies ever! The thing people these days forget about, is the fact that these characters we're thought up in a time when CGI didn't exist and color TV wasn't a common thing. So as one of the first attempts to bring an amazing and well loved comic book character to the big screen. I tip my hat and thank these individuals for pioneering the road to what we have now in Marvel movies.

I know this was made in the 70's but you could have at least had a character costume closer to the comics.
