After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. A really great film. Good mix of action set pieces and thriller / character building. Good pacing and even at 130 doesn't feel long or drag. Whilst a few people will undoubtedly be critical and say it was a little predictable and 'by the numbers' you have to realise that any comic book film will be bound by source material. Personally I felt the ending was fantastic ( spoiler alert ) as it demonstrated captain Americas character which has run as a coherent theme throughout all his outings in any marvel film

The best so far (Endgame and FFH incl.), down to Earth, looks realer and like there's less green screens and cartoon sets than Infinity War and Endgame, an advantage of the earlier MCU films and all the stand-alones (I mean even Guardians & FFH look realer than Endgame). Great chemistry between all the characters, decent guy Sam Wilson is a lovely natural addition to a pretty dark film. Fury is crucial, Widow's actually interesting for once, Cap's at his best, wholesome. Fights are awesome too!

The best Marvel movie made to date. I'm impressed by Cap's fighting style and Bucky's transformation into the Winter Soldier was so daunting ( how his arm was cut off, his memories were erased and how he spent 70 years being a ruthless monster of HYDRA's making) it was brilliant. SHIELD's battle with HYDRA was sure to be a long one from this point.
