Screen favorite Kurt Russell teams up with funnyman Martin Short in an outrageously wild comedy that's sure to drive you overboard! Russell plays hilariously laid-back Captain Ron -- a vagabond seaman who charts a course for comedy when he skippers the newly inherited Caribbean yacht of corporate executive Martin Harvey (Short) and his family! Capt Ron is the best movie ever. Just hilarious. If I feel bad or sad, I pop in Capt Ron and by the end my mood is much better. Must watch about twice each year.

This is entertaining and provided you allow the movie, will transport you to a funny and enjoyable place for a time. Don't listen to the jaded douche bags that downplay this movie, just a bunch of pedantic few that took a film class and wanna show off their douchery they think they learned.

Let me start out with saying I LOVE this movie. It is by far one of the best an funniest I've ever seen. Now with that being said it falls at number 4 on my own personal top ten this is truly a classic and Kurt Russel is truly amazing!
