Fearing for her life and desperately hoping to see her daughter again, she turns to Rick Warren's The Purpose Driven Life for guidance. Ashley and her captor face a crossroads where they discover hope and light in the midst of despair in the incredible film the Dove Foundation hailed as “powerful”.

Heard about this movie from a youtube video of Rick Warren. It was pretty disappointing in my opinion. Expectations certainly didn't live up to what it was in reality. Like another reviewer said, it ended in a whimper rather than a bang, and the lady who supposedly changed this guy's life so much, certainly wasn't portrayed as so life-changing in the film. I think the plot failed big time, and you come away from the film thinking 'well, that was pretty average'. I didn't enjoy it.

Må var verklighet, men att tycka att gud gjorde något är bra korkat. Amerikanska samhället borde ta på sig större ansvar.

Boring Af movie. 2 person 1 house. Talk and talk and talk. Lots of talking. Total bs movie tbh. Cheapest production i have ever watched.
