About this movie

This pure-pulp thrill ride jumps between past and present as it pieces together the puzzle of a shocking crime. It's 1978 and a bank robbery gone wrong leaves Vivian (The Last Exorcism's Ashley Bell) the hostage of two criminals on the run. But things go from bad to off-the-rails berserk when she and her captors wind up on the sun-baked desert outpost of a deranged ex-military sniper (Pat Healy), who ensnares them in his deadly game of cat and mouse. Rising horror auteur Mickey Keating (Pod, Darling) directs this gritty, grisly homage to the glory days of grindhouse cinema.

Carnage Park is a really weird and creepy movie. It's got a cool, retro vibe and some pretty intense violence. I'm not sure if I totally get it, but it's definitely different and kinda cool.

The lead character passes on several chances to kill the killer which is annoying but kept the movie going. The ending comes abruptly and leaves it open for a sequel. Overall though, it was worth the rent if you like similar movies such as Wolf Creek.

Carnage Park is a violent and disturbing film that is not for the faint of heart. It is a slow-burn thriller that follows a group of friends who are terrorized by a group of masked killers. The film is full of suspense and violence, and it is sure to leave you feeling unsettled.
