Mayelana nale movie

Hotshot race car Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) is living life in the fast lane - until he hits a detour and gets stranded in Radiator Springs, a forgotten town on Route 66. There he meets Sally, Mater, Doc Hudson (Paul Newman) and a heap of hilarious characters who help him discover there's more to life than trophies and fame.

Pixar has been known for taking stuff that's not human, and making it more human. We've seen Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Inside Out, and plenty of others, almost all Pixar movies rely on humanized things. Cars is another one of these examples, but it just doesn't live up to its predecessors. I think the idea is smart, but it also feels too childish, seeing as all Pixar movies are designed to be for the entire family. Also, the plot"s pretty simple: There's a hot shot rookie car who gets lost, and is stuck repairing a road he destroyed in a small town called Radiator Springs, and he makes new friends and learns life's about the journey, not the finish line. It's okay for a plot, but it makes the movie move very slowly, and after 30 minutes, its pretty boring. There's no good vs. evil, so I was basically just twiddling my thumbs, waiting til there was some (rare) excitement. It's fine to watch if your kids want to watch it, but it's not something I would just grab and pop into the laptop on a long plane flight by myself.

It's well-made but also incredibly boring at times. Even though the story is creative, it feels a little too grown-up for the audience it's targeting. Still, I watch it with my baby cousins. He loves the idea of talking cars who race each other for a trophy. Luckily, the next movie is more interesting.

Just a simple, feel good movie about the importance of choosing your friends over fame. I loved this the 1st time I watched it when it came out (went to see it with a friend at the movies at 19) and I love it now. Waiting for my little guy to be old enough so we can watch it together as a family one day. In the meantime, I'll keep loving it as my life continues to become more simple and down-to-earth and precious. Life is what you make it. I appreciate & value this theme as it continues forward.
