The Cinephiles
At the the heart of this film, we find a sentimentality that is common among Steven Spielberg films. It flows with a even pacing and a light-footed nature that creates a sense of easy watchability. Beautifully directed, gorgeously decorated and thoughtfully written, "Catch me if you can" presents a heart warming experience that provokes a sense of adventure. It allows for plenty of plot and character progressions that further envelopes the viewer past the point of merely watching a film and creates an experience.

After I seen him pull off a perfect South African accent in Blood Diamond and emulate the role entirely, I realized that Leonardo D is probably one of the best actors in existence. You forget that he is acting and that the character is really Leo when you watch his movies. It doesn't matter if they never give him an award. He is definitely the one to beat. Every role he does he throws himself into it as if he is possessed by the character he is portraying.

And to think it was based on a true story...The acting was good as well as the plot. Counterfeiting was never this much fun in any film and the main character showed us why. Folks, if you pick ONLY one film this month, choose this five-star classic! ! !
