It's a fur-to-riches story as Danny -- a spunky, wise-crackin' cat with moves like Fred Astaire -- heads to Hollywood on a quest to overcome the "species barrier" and become a dancing movie legend. I vaguely recall seeing this movie on Cartoon Network once or twice in the 2000s. Haven't watched it again until very recently, but it holds up pretty well, and I would very much consider it a hidden gem of the 90s. The animation is snappy and expressive, the characters and dialogue are full of emotion and wit, and the soundtrack and choreography give it an old-school Hollywood feel that fits the story perfectly. If you love classic slapstick cartoons, you should totally check it out.

Haven't seen this movie in years till i watched it recently on YouTube. I love it! after watching it on YouTube i actually got it for Christmas. :P love everything 1940s & 30s!!! Especially the music love the song "Tell Me Lies" Natalie Cole sings in this movie!!! Ah when cartoons actually had good music, instead of the corny crap they sing todays cartoons. -_- We may be kids, but we know good music when we hear it.

One of the best animated movies of all time. It's a shame that Warner Bros does not care about this movie and barely even acknowledges it's existence. The characters are all great and the plot is simple but in the end the movie was great! I would recommend this film to anyone who's interested in good animated movies.
