About this movie

A story of grit and determination, one's dream against all odds and emerging victorious, a story about a young lad called Shankar who bids farewell to his family. He has always envisioned himself as an expeditionary, hence sets sail to the Dark Continent to work as the station master. An adventure journey to the fabled, 'Mountains Of The Moon', in search of gold and diamond mines, up against threats as vivid and varied as lurking snakes, pouncing lions, poisonous flora, the fury of an active volcano and a seemingly, almost supernatural mythical horror 'The Bunyip' the guardian angel of the diamond cave. Chander Pahar for Bengali kids still remain the best adventure story forever. No one thought of ever seeing such a huge canvas to be captured in Bengali or Indian cinema ever. Kudos for the director to make out a such an epic. Its thrilling, intresting and moreover leaping your childhood memories seeing them going live on screen. #Speechless. Don't hate dev because he is the actor who has taken the risk to act in such a risky movie and fight with lion.... One should be brave to shoot with a lion.... But we should praise dev for his bravery and acting.... So dev is superb.... Dev is the best actor and best person in the world to me....
