I'm sure it is not like the book for those who have readen the trilogy. But it is quite entertainning and a new feel on extra-terrestrial adventure all the same. And I like it. I was not expecting much since the only two vote were 1 star and 3 star but in the end that's probably why I was not disapointed.

This movie is good. I am someone who has read all the books and watched the movie the movie is not comparable with the books, it seems like the movie was rushed missing out on alot of detail. It also only covers the first book. But over all is still a good watch just don't go into it expecting it to be like the books.

Not as bad as you may think, actually it's very interesting.
