CHEF is a deliciously hilarious new comedy from acclaimed director Jon Favreau (Iron Man 1 & 2, Swingers). When Chef Carl Casper (Jon Favreau) suddenly quits his job at a prominent restaurant after refusing to compromise his creative integrity for its controlling owner (Dustin Hoffman), he is left to figure out what’s next. Finding himself in a creative rut, he teams up with his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara) and his son to launch a food truck. Taking to the road, Chef Carl Casper goes back to his roots to reignite his passion for the kitchen—and zest for life and love.

Funny with great characters and an awesome soundtrack. Loses a star because it drags a bit in spots. Some scenes are just eye candy and don't add anything to the plot or setting.

Undeniably enjoyable. Full of energy, lively characters, and a superb soundtrack. What I love most about this movie was that it took its time, leaving you completely satisfied. Loved it!

A lovely film with heart & love, and lots of amazing food to drool over. Who knew Favreau could I look so deft in the kitchen ? At it's heart though, this is all about a father & his son learning to love doing something together.
