This is a story of Rahul who embarks on a journey to a small town in Tamil Nadu, only to fulfill the last wish of his grandfather to have his ashes immersed in the Holy water of Rameshwaram. En route, he meets a South Indian girl hailing from a unique family down South. As they find love through this journey in the exuberant lands of South India, an unanticipated drive awaits them. What follows is a series of adventures where he finds himself in estranged situations, challenged with an unfamiliar language. Chennai Express is an action packed romantic journey.

Good story and well choreographed,songs are so beautiful but sometimes Deepika acting lit bit overacted some portions but I really loved this movie as well as the songs

Nice film I have ever seen this film has the nice stories and many action and comidy scanes and to interesting things in this movie i like the train seen the sharuk khan and Deepika padukon action mid blowing and 1 sad thing that sharuk khan and Deepika get away from them but it is interesting film I like it👍👍(those who are telling this film worst then they will go to hell) I am giving 5 stars in this movie...

so funny the movie is. The funny moment that I have all the time watched is of Shah Rukh Khan about his phone which costs ₹35,000😂
