After the murder of a child by a stray bullet, a group of women led by Lysistrata (Teyonah Parris) organise against the on-going violence in Chicago's southside, creating a movement that challenges the nature of race, sex and violence in America and around the world.

I simply love Spike Lee and ChiRaq couldn't be any better. I love the rhymes in the lines. I love the actresses and actors and as usual the soundtrack is amazing. Spike Lee can make a very important and serious matter into a comedy. There are very funny parts and very touching ones too.
