Children of Men envisages a world one generation from now that has fallen into anarchy on the heels of an infertility defect in the population. One of my personal favourites. The cinematography is technically well done, but also seamless. It's very easy to believe the action on screen, the characters are so well drawn. I disagree that there should be a sequel - there are questions left unanswered but that only adds to the appeal.

Went into this film blind a couple years back and was blown away, it is one of my all time favourites. You will either love it or hate it, but the acting is stellar and the writing and directing are excellent. Well worth the watch

Quite possibly the single greatest post apocalyptic film ever. The world will not end in a Mad Max style thunderous spectacle, it will end in a long drawn out whimper. Stunning cinematography and beautiful acting.
