Film honi buruz

Children of Men envisages a world one generation from now that has fallen into anarchy on the heels of an infertility defect in the population. The world's youngest citizen has just died at 18, and humankind is facing the likelihood of its own extinction. Set against a backdrop of London torn apart by violence and warring nationalistic sects, Children of Men follows an unlikely champion of Earth's survival: Theo (Academy Award-nominee Clive Owen), a disillusioned ex-activist turned bureaucrat, who is forced to face his own demons and protect the planet's last remaining hope for a future generation. Also starring Academy Award-nominee Julianne Moore and Academy Award-winner Michael Caine and directed by the accomplished Alfonso Cuaron, Children of Men is a stunning and meticulously realized masterwork that is as suspenseful and thrilling as it is thought-provoking. One of my personal favourites. The cinematography is technically well done, but also seamless. It's very easy to believe the action on screen, the characters are so well drawn. I disagree that there should be a sequel - there are questions left unanswered but that only adds to the appeal.

Went into this film blind a couple years back and was blown away, it is one of my all time favourites. You will either love it or hate it, but the acting is stellar and the writing and directing are excellent. Well worth the watch

Quite possibly the single greatest post apocalyptic film ever. The world will not end in a Mad Max style thunderous spectacle, it will end in a long drawn out whimper. Stunning cinematography and beautiful acting.
