John Wayne stars as John Simpson Chisum, "King of the Pecos" and the most powerful man in 1870s New Mexico Territory in this Western loosely based on a true story. Chisum has built a cattle empire while battling rustlers, disease, Indians and the land itself. But a ruthless land speculator and a corrupt sheriff threaten everything for which he has worked. Now to save his empire, Chisum enlists the help of the Wild West's most infamous duo--Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.
