An amazing performance from Eric Bana makes this a highly recommended Australian cult classic. A cleverly directed and engaging glimpse into the stupidity of the criminal mindset, the testosterone rage and alcohol fueled violence that it produces, inflicting itself upon the people of Melbourne from time to time. The content gracefully lightened by the surreal larrikin comedy that Australia is famous for, providing for the viewer a well balanced and overall enjoyable film.

Great Movie it's hard core with Chopper's dark aussie humour, one of Eric Bana's best acting roles.
