When a power outage strikes New York City on Christmas Eve, six groups of people trapped in different elevators find their lives changed forever as new friendships are formed and romances blossom with the help of a little holiday magic. Christmas Eve is an all-star ensemble comedy that proves that in a city of eight million, you never know whom you might get stuck with.

Not bad but not good either. The characters could have used more depth. If Patrick Stewart's character was not in the movie it would not have made any difference.
