In this heartfelt sequel to Lilies of the Field, also helmed by award-winning director Ralph Nelson, Billy Dee Williams reprises the role of Homer Smith, originated by Sidney Poitier. Completing a tour of duty in the army, Homer returns to the chapel he helped build and is cajoled by Mother Maria into building an orphanage.

Wasn’t sure we would like it at first, but Billy Dee Williams and all the actors did a great job. A nice heartwarming movie.
