But their decision to boycott tradition has the whole neighborhood in an uproar, and when Blair callson Christmas Eve to announce a surprise visit with her new fiancée, the Kranks have just twelve hours to perform a miracle and pull themselves and their neighbors together to throw the best celebration ever! With fast-paced energy and support from Dan Aykroyd, Cheech Marin, Jake Busey and M. EmmetWalsh, this hilarious adaptation of John Grisham's best-selling novel, "Skipping Christmas" has become "an instant family classic!" Oh yeah neighborhood's are great some places here weird, mom's love film because of cast like Jamie lee Curtis is like that funny & Dan Aykroyd funny and creepy but like won't let people forget that's what people from a real world where traditional people live do that electric bill too high reality. Fun green peace thing very unrealistic.

Funny, endearing, Christmas movie. I guess its just too wholesome for some but if you want a movie that the family can watch that will make you laugh this is for you. Tim Allen is hilarious. Don't know why it is catagorized as a drama.

It would've been okay, I just couldn't get into it. My reason being I don't get why the neighbors freaked because Allen's and Curtis' characters didn't put up any decorations. They were planning on taking a trip (before they found out their daughter had changed her plans and decided to come home), why put up decorations when you're not gonna be home to light/see them? It's not like they were bashing the holiday. But, that's just my opinion. If you like it or wanna see it, then try it, you might like it, it just wasn't my thing I guess.
