Choi is a highly decorated homicide detective with an extraordinary closure record. On his way home one evening, his taxi driver stops in the middle of nowhere, pulls a knife on him and the two of them engage in a bloody fight. When the driver dies at Choi's hands, he fears this incident may affect his career and so cleans up and fess. But Choi can't escape his act: the driver's body winds up displayed in front of the police station the next day and he himself is assigned to the case. Realizing that he is caught in a trap, he must now untangle past mistakes to figure out why he was targeted in the first place.
