I would like to start out by saying no rape ever took place and Never once was the safe word used that christen continued that is false, Also this book/movie is not for prudes and if you have not read all 3 Books then you do not know the whole story and have no right to comment on it because its simply not educated comment. With that being said I think that they could have put more money into the movie especially for the locations and apartment/ hotel rooms it all looked a little low class for Christen Grey and his standards, As well as Ana and Kate's Apt was not Posh enough, I'm Sorry if your going to have an adaption of a widely read popular book such as this you should know you have standards if your to make the fans happy and do the book Justice, the whole movie was rushed and missed key scenes and didn't follow the book closely enough in some. Also I'm sorry but Jamie Dornan Is no Christian Grey at least not EL James's Books . You will be satisfied if you have not read the books but not happy with it if you have. Jamie Dornan made me laugh rather than get excited during the Erotic scenes He is No Christian Grey. A new Director is needed Sam Taylor Johnson was no good Sorry

The film adaptation of FSOG was a disappointment in comparison to the books. E.L. James did a better job of keeping my attention then Sam Taylor-Johnson did with directing the film. Dakota Johnson knocked it out of the park with her performance and bringing the many facets of Ana to the screen. Whereas her co-star Jamie Dornan appeared as if he was filming a commercial and he didn't care if people liked it or not. In the beginning I was excited to see how the film adaptation was going to compare to the books, boy or boy I wasn't expecting what the end result was. The playroom scenes were boring, dry and not sensual at all. No wonder E.L. James and Taylor-Johnson clashed on set. Here's hoping James Foley can redeem the film series and bring something new to the table. Because the first film didn't even go deep into Christian and Ana's story. Is it an exact representation of BDSM, no. If you want to watch a film that will give you that perspective, then rent the Secretary... This is in no way disrespecting E.L. James, because again I enjoyed the books. The film itself was a let down... To bad they couldn't get Steve McQueen, who directed Shame with Michael Fassbender.

I will start by saying that the books have never interested me. What I heard and the synopses I've read turned me off from them. Fifty Shades just seemed utterly ridiculous, but I took a chance on the movie. Unfortunately, it was two hours of one of the worst- most useless and boring viewing experiences I've ever had. The actors seemed unsure and unmotivated. There was literally no plot or point to anything. I hated this movie. Even Twilight had more substance.
