If you you haven't see real combat film then I would see why you would think this is real ... This is all staged film .... And no I'm not talking about the troops didn't go threw that or questioning there story ....but come on if you think is real combat film ...SMH

Citizen Soldier provides viewers with a truly immersive experience. Filmmakers David Salzberg and Christian Tureaud use helmet-cam footage to give viewers a first person perspective on the front-lines, something that I have never seen before, but greatly appreciated. I felt like I was right there with the National Guard members, walking the terrain overseas and experiencing the bravery of our soldiers. It is amazing how close these soldiers become during their deployments, living together, fighting together, fighting for each other. This film was truly inspiring and I definitely recommend it.

A well filmed documentary following the combat deployment of the OK. National Guard. A visceral gritty look into what modern combat is really like. Movie struck a personal chord with me as I lived on the same outpost and patrolled that same river valley with the PA. Guard 2 years prior to this.
