Disgraced L.A.P.D. detective, Russell Poole (Depp), is a beaten man, unable to solve his biggest case - the murders of music icons Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. After two decades, the case remains open. "Jack" Jackson (Whitaker), a reporter desperate to save his reputations and career, is determined to find out why. He tracks down Poole, and the two enter into an uneasy partnership to finally put this case to rest. As Poole relives the unbelievable story of power, corruption and crime, Jackson begins to unravel a growing web of scandal and deception. Relentless in their hunt for the truth, these two broken men threaten to crack the foundation of the L.A.P.D all the while fighting for their own.

Great movie with events that are facts. Kinda makes you wonder why they filmed this movie almost 4 years ago and waited till now to release it weird right. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Acting was horrible. THE STORY AND CHARECTORS WERE ALL OVER PLACE. could of been so much better. I FELT ALOT OF THIS WAS FAKE AND ADDED FOR ENTERTAINMENT

Very good movie! I loved 2pac and I did like Biggie as well and always researched on their deaths as well but never knew how corrput the LA police department was? I do know one thing and that Lady justice is BS!! There is NO justice in the system for most people. The scales are never balanced in this 3D demension.
