A documentary about a rural Oregon timber town and a rift between conservatives and liberals that threatens to put an end to a 40-year-old scholarship plan that pays the college tuition for every local high school graduate the town produces.

The son doesn't seem to be administering the scholarships in the spirit of his family's wishes. Very simple. You graduate from high school, you can go to college. So many kids are too shy, or like me, suffering from depression, and would so hope to have the opportunity, and really need it to bloom later, with no pressure.
