Im letzten Kapitel der beliebten Clerks-Reihe von Autor und Regisseur Kevin Smith stehen Dante (Brian O' Halloran) und Randal (Jeff Anderson) wieder hinter dem Tresen von Quick Stop Groceries, hängen ab mit Jay (Jason Mewes) und Silent Bob (Kevin Smith), gehen heimlich zum Dachhockey und beleidigen ihre Kunden. Doch nachdem Randal einen schweren Herzinfarkt erleidet, beschließt er, dass es an der Zeit ist, etwas aus seinem Faulenzerleben zu machen – indem er einen Film darüber dreht! Diese lang erwartete Komödie mit Rosario Dawson, zahlreichen Gastauftritten Prominenter und Smiths ungehobelter Art ist der Schlussstein des Clerks-Vermächtnisses.

Bewertungen und Rezensionen

It is hard to talk about without spoiling but I want to say that this one is for the real Kevin Smith fanatics like me. The mixed reviews are because it's virtually strictly for the hardcore Kevin Smith fans who know his entire body of work (and life) inside and out. If you're the kind of person who saw "Jay And Silent Bob Reboot" on day 1 then you will probably like this movie as well.

I have always loved the band Bad Religion. I saw the original clerks because it was something unknown and it had the bands song in it somewhere. I have been a Kevin Smith fan ever since. As much as Affleck could play any role and id watch it Kevin could make any movie and id watch that too. It was a great trip down memory lane and a heartfelt end of a trilogy. Man it hit me in the feels.

Didn't expect the end of this movie being what it was for a Kevin Smith movie. There is so much pack in if you have gone through similar events in your life. But he is also indulging himself with the cameos and inside jokes. They are great if you are a fan, but no so much if this is your first film of his.
