Kevin Harrington stars as Australia's most unlikely sporting hero, Cliff Young, a 61 year old potato farmer from regional Victoria who enters the inaugural Sydney to Melbourne Ultra Marathon. Playing out on the evening news is a classic tortoise and hare story - initially derided as an eccentric who wouldn't survive the first day, let alone challenge the world's finest distance runners, "Cliffy" eats up the miles with his distinctive shuffle and transfixes the nation by winning the race against all odds.
