One of the films which I don't get. After I watched it carefully, I don't even know what this film is all about. It's really confusing and also bad directing. Regret watching it.

I feel like it tried to be really deep and moving a bit too much. It seemed a bit over dramatic with the main composition constantly pushing the film on when I feel like it needed to chill. I really liked what it has to say but I kinda grew tired of everyone talking like they are giving a dramatic ted talk.

Not sure why so many people disliked this movie. Saw it at least a dozen times and with each viewing I find things I missed and appreciate. The film is based on a book that was a bit difficult to read... I thought the Wachowski's and Tom Tykwer did a work of magic bringing David Mitchell's novel to life. Visually stunning, an amazing OST, and Incredible performances by pretty much the entire cast.
