I watched this movie when it came out and over 10 years later, I am still in love with it. The humor hits on multiple levels and is appropriate for all ages. Also, i have a degree in food science and being a promoter of STEAM (sci, tech, eng, art, math), this movie really hit the spot for me, but my family really enjoys it, too. One of my faves forever.

I used to like this crap, but now have grown to know how bad it was. The story, not really so good and kind of unoriginal, the animation, although nice with the backgrounds,food, and effects, the character design and their movement is ugly and obnoxious, and the characters are either filler, idiots,or annoying. I will allow people to like this film though. However, the sequel was even more dumb and really bad.

Took a classic children's picture book, and made it into a horrible film. Whole movie lacked "spark" and enthusiasm, as If the people who produced the film were feeling lazy.
