About this movie

In an attempt to save his 10-year-old son’s birthday party, Kent dresses up in an old clown suit he finds, but soon discovers that it’s not a suit at all - and there’s no way of removing it. Kent quickly finds himself morphing into something sinister and not altogether human. As the days pass, the clown persona begins to consume him, and so does his newfound bloodlust for children.

This movie could basically be a prequel to Steven Kings "It". Telling the story of a Maladjusted Pennywise who gets to earth and wants to live in peace (M.I.B esque) with his normal ass family...unfortunately, life ensues and we watch our protoganist lose himeslf and slip into madness thus becoming the Horror Icon we know and love.

The story was interesting enough. There were a couple jumps but the strength of this film, for me, was the consistent creep-factor. I like the build up in this movie. We all know there is nothing new under the sun, as it were, but this film takes a typical concept and gives it the right context to be captivating. It is worth the rental price and the time.

Clown introduces a new trope (AKA, A Indoor Kids Play Place) for horror that I haven't seen yet. It's a terror spectatcle that is shocking and downright disturbing.
