Based on the Chanel biography L'Irreguliere (The Nonconformist) by author Edmonde Charles-Roux, Coco avant Chanel features dresses from the Chanel collection. House of Chanel art director Karl Lagerfeld also steps onboard to supervise the creation of accessories and costumes.
