Paris 1913. At the Theatre Des Champs-Elysées, Igor Stravinsky premieres "The Rite Of Spring". Coco Chanel is mesmerized...But the revolutionary work is too modern: the enraged audience boos. A near riot ensues. Seven years later, Coco Chanel meets Stravinsky again - a penniless refugee living in exile after the Russian Revolution. The attraction between them is immediate and electric. Coco offers Stravinsky and his family the use of her villa in Garches so that he will be able to continue his work. And so a passionate, intense love affair between two fascinating creative giants begins... I've been on a Mads Movie Marathon so naturally this movie was on the list. It was a great love affair movie. It was a very informative movie of the life of Coco Chanel and if you can't afford Chanel like me at least you can flex your knowledge of her love affairs which honestly is just as good. If you're looking for another great affair movie to watch Royal Affair is great and also has Mads in it! I would recommend. But don't have affairs in real life they probably aren't as good if they don't have Mads Mikkelsen in them. Unless you are having an affair with Mads Mikkelsen then lowkey I'm jealous but have fun and be safe.
