Coffee aficionado, Jo (Kate Nash), is doing her best to keep her plant-based, independent, coffee shop afloat alongside her band of misfit employees. In a last-ditch effort to save her business, Jo and her team embark to battle it out as the underdogs competing in the World Barista Championship in order to finally have a chance to prove herself in the dairy-dominated world of coffee.

Randall Miller is responsible for the death of camera woman Sarah Jones, was found guilty, and forbidden to make films in the United States. He snuck off to Europe instead. I feel for the cast and crew who might have blindly and unknowingly participated in this project, but he deserves no accolades, no profit, no chance to put anyone else’s lives in danger through greed and negligence. I absolutely loved Coffee Wars! The cast was super funny and the pace and music were super fun... What a fun way to spend a couple of hours! If you are a coffee lover it is a must see!

As a long-time vegan and coffee lover, this was such a refreshing movie to see! They did a great job at touching on the real life stats of global warming as well showcasing barista competition industry. This was definitely a fun adventure and had me laughing throughout! I hope everyone, vegan or not, takes the time to watch it!
