On a visit to his childhood home to look in on his mother, the famous playwright Robert Longfellow (Martin Donovan -- Insomnia, Unthinkable) is taken hostage by Gus (David Morse -- The Hurt Locker, The Green Mile), an ex-con neighbour he has avoided since he was a boy.
