For those who think this movie is crap are missing the moral test of this story. Slight spoilers ahead.... The fact the 3 who built the advertising firm with Will Smith's character, send a private investigator to prove incompetence to save firm from implosion. Then send actors to portray death, time, and love to get video proof, of course can be tough to swallow. Yet, the big picture is those three are doing it out of a form of love. The grief of losing a child caused Will Smith's character to shut down. The overall dynamic of the three who exhausted every avenue to help over the years had to make the hard choice to protect the firm. Now that the hard pill is done, here comes the amazing part. How everything comes together in a complete circle of amazement. The story reaches anyone that has experienced grief, or loss. The story not only brings full circle to Will Smith's character, but all characters in a great reveal. Being a disabled vet that's seen death as a soldier and as a civilian I was truly moved. I had to get thru the tough beginning, but it was worth the ride. A bitter heart may not be softened and be disgusted, yet a broken heart that has a willingness to heal will find something special here.

I guess for some it would take losing a child in a tragic way to see the tragic beauty of this movie. I watched when it came out awhile back and then today, as I'm sitting in a hospital. I have been here for 37-days now, awaiting my son to pass, he was negligently killed by his daycare provider so the sudden tragedy is enough to send your mental state into a tales-spin, especially when your child wasn't sick, wasn't born with a defect, etc. the sudden loss of your child, your whole future being altered, your whole world crashing in, then you could see this movie in the light was meant to be seen.

cannot believe that people can be called "friends" and " family" and do that do someone they seeing falling apart all in the name of money, What a twisted sociopath that wrote this disgusting piece of trash, WE only have each other to depend on when life strikes you and if it hasn't yet, it will, that is life, It would have been a a inspiring script had they really made these figures come and speak with him in a spiritual kind of way. I have experienced death. Twice now. Just when I thought people couldn't sink any lower. Of course we all learn. I used to be so fragile and naive. SHAME on you Hollywood! The only thing this movie got right is we are all connected, what a war of evil we are upon that this kind of movie would not only be produced but the very actors i find inspiring I now find disappointment with. I prefer news.
