Can a disgraced scientist manage to use his failed weapon system to save our planet? Quite watchable - With the the 1st rock from the sun on its way to visit the watery blue neighbour two doors down(earth).You'll be magnetised by this scientifically accurate scenario ,coupled with flawless C.G.I and seamless acting skills soaked in sincerity, parallel to a politician's election speech .This war of the worlds may spark fear in the hearts of those not realising that it's just a movie and not actually happening..and UNLIKE this review..totally realistic. Now can i have some endorsement rewards?

Really Low Budget special effects! If you can get past that, then worth the watch. Hopefully they will spend the money on better fx for the next movie.

Very enjoyable, not too far out there. Lead actor played very well. Well worth watching
