So far the best adaptation of the original story. Very nice effects, sounds and music. Very good acting (probably Nicolas Cage at his best) and directing. As a long time fan of Lovecraftian horror and especially the Call of Cthulhu role playing game, I am biased, but I really think this is one of the best horror/sci-fi movies I have ever seen.
