This is a very different movie than I was expecting, in a good way! It's a "horror" movie with heart & soul, very emotional with plenty of creepy unsettling moments & atmosphere. The demon is extremely well done with cgi & very scary, strong plot & fantastic acting, especially from the young cast. Oliver is so endearing, i couldn't help but fall in love with him - everyone is likeable in this, essential in a horror movie if you're going to feel empathy for the cast. Loved it!

No idea why this film has such high ratings. It isn't the worst film you'll watch but it's got a very slow build-up and not at all frightening. Almost like a kids horror.
