Inspired by true events, COMPLIANCE tells the chilling story of just how far one might go to obey a figure of authority. On a particularly busy day at a suburban Ohio fast food joint, high-strung manager Sandra (Ann Dowd) receives a phone call from a police officer saying that an employee, a pretty young blonde named Becky (Dreama Walker), has stolen money from a customer. Convinced she's only doing what's right, Sandra commences the investigation, following step-by-step instructions from the officer at the other end of the line, no matter how invasive they become.

That manager should of known better and used some common sense, i blame the manager as well. I guess she just didn't have any morals. I hope that girl is at peace and overcame all of this. I can't imagine how humiliated and scared she was, there's nothing like being falsely accused. I wish her the best and she did give a voice to other victims and possibly saved others as well.

Sitting through this film was nerve-wrecking at times. Even though I've heard about this situations like these on the news, it was hard to believe people fell for the prank. Going deeper pass the headlines and being able to experience what the situation could have been like, provided a feeling of discomfort and a good drama.

Before my machine timed out. As I was saying they were just as quilty as the man on the other line. The only one's that had any common sense when speaking to the man on the phone, were the young teen agers. Tried to tell the manager something wasn't right. It's hard to believe all those people were that STUPID!!!!!!
