Duh?! It's tackle football...people might get hurt. You can't go into the sport of boxing getting punched in the head 250 times per fight and the make a stink about it being a dangerous sport that gave you reoccurring headaches. Duh?! Hockey players are missing teeth, play with blood on the ice, but Congress or noone else goes after them as being dangerous or brutal. Running backs get tackled by 5 - 250 lb. guys almost every time they touch the ball and we're just becoming aware that football is a dangerous sport. It wouldn't sell out stadiums if it wasn't. It wouldn't pay $100 million contracts if it wasjt. If it wasnt dangerous, it'd be golf...duh?!!

the rotten tomatoes is bad but once again, as in all Will Smith movies, he brings the greatness. I would've been Terrified to have discover this. but we know now & the NFL still agrees to let them beat the living shit outta each other.. Really tough subject

Let's call it the "Jesus Syndrome". In our capitalist society, characterised by over-consumption, the mighty dollar and the power of entertainment, we will not think twice before destroying anyone who, in our view, tries to knock down a corporate giant that gives us our daily amusement. Will Smith does a superb job playing Dr. Bennet Omalu, and for the life of me, I can't understand why Smith didn't even get a nomination at this year's Oscar night.
