When Beth Emhoff (Gwyneth Paltrow) returns to Minneapolis from business in Hong Kong, what she thought was jet lag takes a virulent turn. Two days later, she's dead in the ER and the doctors tell her shocked and grieving husband (Matt Damon) they have no idea why. Soon more cases are reported as the virus begins to spread. Researchers mobilize to break the code of this unique biological pathogen as it continues to mutate. Deputy Director Cheever (Laurence Fishburne) tries to allay the growing panic despite his own personal concerns, and must send a brave young doctor (Kate Winslet) into harm's way. As the death toll escalates and people struggle to protect themselves and their loved ones in a society breaking down, one activist blogger (Jude Law) claims the public isn't getting the truth about what's really going on, and sets off an epidemic of paranoia and fear as infectious as the virus itself.

La película esta buena :D se las recomiendo, Contagion creo que se estrenó en 2011 . Y ahora en el 2021 es algo parecido con el coronavirus y si hay películas que son de la vida real como. Titanic,Britannic,Contagio,Flu,Píxeles etc Algunos dicen que Flu o Estación Zombi y Guerra mundial Z etc , son sucesos que pasarán en la vida real por como tratamos al planeta terminaremos como una pelicula :'0 , o puede que nos pace algo peor . Gracias :).

Normalmente ciertas películas se basan en hechos de la vida real, por ejemplo, el Titanic, La lista de Schindler, Hombres de honor, El diario de Anne Frank, etc., y después de mucho tiempo se recrean esos sucesos para contar la historia a todo el mundo. Sin embargo, con esta película se alteró ese orden, Contagion se estrenó en el 2011 y ahora, en el 2020, estamos viviendo nosotros situaciones bastantes similares como las que se muestran en esta producción cinematográfica. ¡Sin desperdicio, no dejen de ver esta película!

Interesting that this film was made in 2011! Watching it during the height of Covid globally right now makes me feel empathetic in a weird way. I thought it was very accurate considering the time lapse. Right now this seems to be the only film that captures the predicament as it is today. In fact our reality is worse than is portrayed here. If you can see this review right now I definitely recommend you watch it for a dose of irony. There are also a lot of big name actors/actresses in this one. Hollywood's Nostradamus moment! Enjoy! :)
