About this movie

Mark Wahlberg stars as legendary smuggler Chris Farraday, who has left his criminal past behind to be with his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and sons. When a ruthless drug kingpin (Giovanni Ribisi) threatens his family, Farraday must summon his old skills and contacts for one last run. Contraband takes you to the cutthroat underground world of international smuggling, and on a thrilling adventure that critics are calling "dynamic, intense and gritty!" -- Mark S Allen, CBS/CW-TV (Sacramento)

I feel bad giving this movie just one star - because it is a great movie. BUT I have to let Google know somehow that if they want to compete with iTunes and Amazon and be taken seriously they need to step it up. I love Google stuff and I am an Android man all the way, but I live in Canada and we seriously lacking on Google product that is available elsewhere. I love the connected Google interface - it is way better that Apple, but the media product needs to be universal and you have to be able to buy the stuff so people can take ownership of it and buy into Google. Just renting will not do - you can rent anywhere, and stream from a number of different sites. Google has the revenue muscle - they should be offering more than this.

I thought it would have been better. Some things just bother me about this. There's one part where the woman is alone with her kids and the bad guy just walks in because she leaves her door unlocked. Come on, maybe the majority of the time bad things don't happen but its so far fetched because we don't leave our doors unlocked so people can just walk in.

Really liked the movie. Great cast. But come on Google, renting at $3 and buy at almost $10 is ridiculous because you can pick this one up (a 2012 movies) for $5 at Walmart on DVD. Quit trying to make big bucks over 4 year old movies.
