I am a massive Joy Division fan. I have read the book, but when I bought the film, it took me 4 year's to actually watch it. I was not disappointed. Fantastic acting. Got Ian Curtis spot on. People say that the film is depressing, it's upsetting that Ian Curtis was so tortured, he could not see anything other than ending his own life. But, we have a massive legacy in his word's/music. WATCH, WATCH, WATCH. True Joy Division fan's will "get it" (absolutely no disrespect to non-J.D fan's).

REALLY HEARTBREAKING MOVIE ESPECIALLY WHAT HAPPENED TO IAN CURTIS LOVE JOY DIVISION THEY HAD SOME GREAT SONG'S AND FROM MANCHESTER

A truly heartbreaking but beautiful account of the troubled singer's life. I'm a believer in Joy Division.
