Nothing can keep a boy and his best friend apart of the United States!10-year old Jimmy Warner lives in the small town of Eagle Rock, Louisiana with his dad, step-mum and his best friend Rainy, a German shepherd dog. It's idyllic. Then Dad gets a promotion and the family must move to New York City and into an apartment that does not accept pets! In a tearful farewell Jimmy writes the new address on Rainy's collar and with the help of a trail of licorice the dog embarks on a cross-country journey via tugboats and trains towards the Big Apple. But that is only half the adventure as Rainy seeks out his friend, and in doing so uncovers a gang of animal smugglers who will stop at nothing to keep their illicit crimes hidden even if it means shipping Jimmy out of the country!© 2009 COOL DOG PRODUCTIONS, LLC.
