This was one of the first books I checked out from the library with my brand new library card...which by the way stayed at the library! But the book was so cute that I kept checking it out over and over until I was asked not to so others could enjoy it too! Hahaha. I did try to check it out as often as I could get away with it. We didn't have book stores everywhere then either so the library was where we got them. Such a cute story! I am glad it is still around. I bought it for my grandson!
