As the talented and intelligent Corrina helps Singer's daughter (Tina Majorino -- "Napoleon Dynamite," "When a Man Loves a Woman") cope with the loss of her mother--and Singer discovers Corrina's intelligence--a relationship develops between them, growing from respect, to affection... to love. But Manny and Corrina live in the United States in 1959, and the racism that prevents Corrina from working as more than a maid threatens to tear the two apart.

Wonderful heartwarming family movie, one of my favourites with Whoopi Goldberg. Leave your prejudice at the door & open your heart, love is colour blind & it comes when we least expect it in all sorts of ways. Beautiful performances all round especially from Tina Majorino as Molly & Whoopi is charming & endearing, this will melt even the stoniest heart.
