A deeply dark and believable character study of what it might take to be a ruthless success in high finance. R Pattinson is mesmerising, finding the dichotomoy between the tightly controlled, smooth, robotic exterior, and the seething chaos, despair, confusion and groundlessness lying beneath. The film thrives on both its portrayal of dissociation, and the links between mind-state and world-state, and how they feed and create each other. The script is lean and rich and bears countless messages. One message beams out loudly - that cut-throat capitalism is the outward reflection of humanity that has lost its sense of meaning and connection, where everything means and feels nothing, a dissociation underscored by the eerie silence within his limousine. A profound commentary on the inner workings of the drive for power, and how it has shaped society. If you're certain you like action not words, don't bother watching. The film is nearly all words - amazing words - and there's barely any soundtrack. But, give it a go anyway. Let it sink in. It's worth it.

This movie is a psychological drama with a political sociological message, in regards to a near future that could possibly happen, where private corporations, owned by the few, make so much money, and being privileged by their luxurious lives, aren't so safe after all, because those who aren't rich as they are, are bigger in numbers. This is a movie about a system fall and change, probably a collapse of Capitalism and Corporatism.

One of the most pretentious offerings I've had the misfortune to see. No plot, appalling dialogue and somehow seems to last for twice as long as it says in the description.
