Professional space scientists by day, amateur astronomers by night, three friends park their car on a lone hilltop for another night of stargazing. But while scanning the airwaves they uncover a coded message hiding in the static - what they believe is an alien signal. Unable to authenticate their discovery with other astronomers, the friends realise they are the sole witness to Mankind's greatest discovery. With their limited gear and sheer willpower, they now race to record, prove and share their breakthrough before it is lost. But the truth they uncover will change our world forever. Inspired by 80s and 90s era adventure and set over one night, Cosmos is a contemporary sci-fi exploring the thrilling first hours of first contact - offering spectacle and thrills, not against the backdrop of national government organisations, but through the eyes of three ordinary men who learn as much about each other as they do about our place in the Universe.

You'll either love it or hate it - it's the field of dreams for scientists. If you're a scientist or software engineer you probably had some cringeworthy LOL moments over the tech details - too many to enumerate, but even so this scientist and software engineer liked it. I can't imagine a big budget Hollywood production ever nailing this so it was good it was achieved with what surely was a shoestring budget. Part of the charm is it's just three guys in a car in a field with a telescope and some umbrella's masquerading as radio antennas. Everything else is all about the journey. Literally and metaphorically.

This movie has the potential to make Elliander Productions a multimillion dollar company. Is perfect in every way and for a zero budget is an instant classic. Is a mixture of Scifi, mistery, thriller. Every corny scene is justified during the development of the movie. - Abimael Rivera Puerto Rico

Good British Actors. Very slow moving storyline. The entire movie was filmed in a parked vehicle (very low budget). The ending was quite "corny". Overall a pretty entertaining flick! 4/5 stars.
