Moving to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a famous songwriter, Violet Sanford (Piper Perabo) finds herself desperate and broke. Through a twist of fate, the shy, innocent Violet lands a job as one of the barmaids at the hottest nightclub in town -- the down and dirty, wild and fun Coyote Ugly. Pouring drinks and overflowing with attitude, the "Coyotes" spend more time on top of the bar than behind it, tantalizing the standing-room-only crowd with their outrageous antics! Sorry, to anyone else who likes this film that's fine. But I hate it, the only thing good about this movie is the music. This film is garbage, girls shaking it around and a scene where a man and a woman are shown fornicating. Don't stream it, don't download it and don't buy it on dvd. I would give this 0 stars if I could.

Predictable from the start and real bore to watch. Real dreck. As for all the good reviews, they must have been written by teenage idiots.

it's a great movie, and I would watch it over and over again. I got to say my favorite part is when she finally kids up the nerve to get up there I'm the bar and seeing to help out her to bartender friends and when her soon-to-be boyfriend gets on the bar and dances to help her with the money she owes her boss in order to keep her job.
