Balorazioak eta iritziak

The visual effects and imagery can't be understated and are far and away the best part of this film. The story follows a well-treaded path of love and ghosts but does so to good effect. The story and characters certainly could have gone further, but overall it was a pretty good Saturday night film and recommended for fans of the genre.

A rare cinematic disappointment from Guillermo del Toro that feels like a genre throwback when the human villains make their move on Mia Wasikowska's character.

I found this stylistically interesting, but the plot failed to maintain my attention. Does not leave you satisfied for bearing with it's lack of hook.
