A really good movie. I’ve been trying to find the full version that was only aired on USA but no luck. Just to clarify (and yes I am black) the sole purpose of most of the black people in the movie being in jail is because it was to be assumed (at least in the movie) that like the drapes they were labeled as troublemakers automatically. I didn’t take it to heart because for the decade that this was supposed to be, did we expect different. I think the point was that the drapes was a misunderstood group who appreciated anyone that was different. But I don’t agree with the argument that all black people are..blah blah blah... cuz I won’t even get into the other comment. In the end it’s a movie. A really good one. Leave the politics and arguments elsewhere.

This is a classic John Waters flick, with tons of over-the-top drama and swooning and awesome weirdos. There isn't much to speak of in the way of extras for this release, but if you're tired of being good, this Blu-ray will make you feel bad. In a good way.
